Woo hoo, temps broke into the mid 60's this morning and I had to get out and ride. Unfortunately we had winds of 25 mph or so and it took some of the fun out of it.Got a good workout in nonetheless.
Anyone else get to enjoy spring weather?![]()

Oh, I just toodled around downtown on the Mariposa.
There was one hill that left me huffing and puffing when i had previously ridden it on my heavy towpath bike.
But today on my fine lugged steel machine I felt like I was flying up it!

So next stop was the bike shop. They said I already had the little plastic thingys in the brake levers but added in a second, thinner, set. So that's the quick $5 fix and if it doesn't help enough may have to look at different bars. Interesting, the bars on some of the mens bikes in the shop gave me better reach than the ones on my WSD bike.
Edit: Oh, and the bike shop guy and a male customer both admired my colourful seat bag from the etsy site and wanted to know where it came from![]()
