Fringe (Fox) and True Blood (HBO) are my favorite new shows.

    My favorite returning shows:
    Heroes (NBC)
    Eli Stone (ABC)
    Pushing Daisies (ABC)
    Bones (Fox)
    Entourage (HBO)

I'm not really a CSI fan...I've heard MadMen is really interesting!! and very pertinent to the business/advertising world...definitely want to check that out one day....

I used to be into Heroes ...kind of lost track of it and feel discouraged to catch back up again..

I want something entertaining, somewhat dramatic, but funny...hmmm

Does anyone else miss Mad TV? I still watch SNL and such, but it doesnt have that special factor MadTv had!

definitely miss this show. Why it went off the air is beyond me. All the cast are still around doing various things, but they need to bring this back. Beats out SNL easily in my book.

MadTV is on every day on Comedy Central. (I'm watching it right now!) I don't think it has been canceled.

This is from Planet MadTV posted on August 14, 2008:
"MADtv returns for a 14th season of off-the-wall humor and side-splitting laughs. Keegan-Michael Key and Erica Ash are "Barack and Michelle Obama" and they join Bobby Lee and Arden Myrin as "John and Cindy McCain" on a spoof of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: PRESIDENTIAL EDITION. The McCains try to impress the judges with their waltz as the Obamas try to win votes with their hip-hop number on the season premiere episode of MADtv airing Saturday, Sept. 13."

In fact, I think I watched it the Saturday after the VP debate.

Life on Mars premiered last week (Thursday?). Pretty interesting premise (a guy in an accident wakes up and it's 1973) with a killer soundtrack. Thumbs up, so far.

I can't believe the season finally for Nicole Sullivan's new show is tonight. It was a really good season, does any one know when it starts over? I hope they bring it back.
