There are some things other women buy, for everything worthwhile, there's bike shops.

Seriously ladies, I'm giddy as can be! How did I function before I was a bike junkie? "No one ever says, I wanna be a junky when I grow up." I didn't try on a thing, but I'm so totally stoked! My bike looks awesome, the teflon chain is blue, so I got the color without spending the extra $15 for the Wipperman colored chains. Oh and that stem, not only does it have what Joshua calls the "turbo button" but it's about 105 grams, and has this sweet cut out around the steerer tube. So next year, when they make the Reba shock with the carbon steerer tube, there will be a sweet little peak of carbon showin'. Seeeexy, Pony bike, sexy, sexy.

LOL... they need to make a County Mental Hospital ward for us special junkies huh?

I know the feelin... when and how did it happen that new lubes excite me? and gearing is fascinating? and climbing is a challenge that I (gasp) look forward to? and I feel perfectly great in lycra DESPITE how my butt actually looks in it????

Since I can't ride outside right now due to my busted pelvis, I have to content myself with reading about everyone else's exploits on these boards...but I too engaged in a bit of retail therapy yesterday: two jerseys from Team Estrogen and a pair of shorts (on sale!) from Terry. Gotta be ready when the doc says it's okay to ride again!!!
