I finally took my camera along and thought I'd post a couple of photos I took today. When I go to visit my parents, I always take my bike and ride a little trail near there called lion's club park trail. It's only 3.7 miles of dirt singletrack, very twisty and narrow through trees. Today, all of the many water crossings (creeks, more like muddy ditches with water in them) had been filled in with piled branches. These were unstable and rickety, but easier for me to ride across than mud, so I didn't have to walk any of the water crossings. There was a down tree still, and someone had piled branches up all over that and apparently tried to ride over it (broken plastic chain guard on the ground).
Beautiful day, beautiful trail.

fastdogs - Are you going to Berryman before Thanksgiving?
yes! I've been wanting to see that trail, but didn't want to go alone, since it's like 24 miles and I hear it's easy to get lost there. I'm looking forward to it, just hoping I can keep up.
vickie
I love it when I get to see pics of where other TE girls ride.
