I grew up in Yuma, but haven't been there in almost 20 years. I USED to know good riding routes, but from what I've heard, the place has exploded and I surely wouldn't know my way around at all.
Just wanted to pipe in to tell you to enjoy your stay there. Should be pretty tame this time of year. I never had to buy a winter coat until I went away to college (you mean THIS is what a winter coat looks like? I thought my sweater WAS a winter coat).

There's a good chance I'll have the opportunity to visit Yuma near the end of the year. It'll sure be nice to ride in some warm weather for a change!
Anyone know of any good bike routes around Yuma? I'm looking for areas that are safe and low traffic and that I'm not likely to get lost on.
