    Been riding too much?

I think I've been riding too much. How do I know? Last night I was curled up in bed, tired as can be, all wrapped around my body pillow and I drifted off into that happy half asleep place. You know, the place where you get that feeling of falling and awake with a jolt? Well.... last night I got into that place, started dreaming I guess I was falling off my bike, and instead of the body jolt, I instinctively "unclipped" my right foot from the trappings of my body pillow. Heaven help me, "I'm a dork fish!"

Hey - that's never happened to me. I hope that doesn't mean that I'm not riding enough.

    Great story Smurf!

you can never be riding too much

Yeah, but were you turning the body pillow toward your unclipped foot? I've read that helps.

Well, at least you didn't fly before you started to fall! I had a dream where I launched off a small jump on a trail and found myself sailing through the air. I kept flying, thinking how great it was, but wondering when and where I was going to land. I scared myself into waking up. Whew!!

Anyone else have an interesting biking dream?

so are you a dork fish coz your left foot was still clipped in and THAT was the foot you were putting down?? and yes - I used to have a recurring car dream, now it's a bike dream and it isn't pretty. Probably some Freudian thing but I don't really care and I"m not going there!

    Lightbulb lovin' it!

Just when you thought the Terry saddles were the best....sealy pillow saddles are now the rave, ya know....

I don't think you have been riding too much, there is no such thing!!!
Dreaming about riding your bike has got to be a good thing. Purhaps you have had too much sugars or something in your diet that stimulated this.
    Me in denial??? NO!!!
My bike gets me in shape, takes me to where I need to go, takes my mind off things of this world and my life. Too many positives to make a negative dream. Even the costs is not negative...I am investing in my over all health.
Hey...wait a minute...There should be a tax right off or something for those that ride bikes and not use up gasoline and pollute the air.
Mr President here is your alternative to lower health care costs (healthy bike riding people) and gasoline prices....
Take your bike to work day(month, year)...In just one day it would save soo much, can you imagine if everyone rode their bikes or walked. Now I know I am dreaming....

    Good night,
Got to go ride on my pillow....

Hahahaha. Reminds me of years ago when my husband was overtraining and sleeping poorly. He slept lightly with crazy dreams and tossed all night long; he frequently ended up turned around with his feet at the head and his head at the foot of the bed.

One night, after such a flip-flop, he started having a vivid dream about a sprint finish.

Guess who got woken by a flailing foot to the face?

Love the sealy pillow saddle.......the whole visual thing is hilarious!

as for the ride your bike to work:...Albuquerque has a ride your bike to work week but I can't remember when it is - since I ride my bike to work anyway! But they make a big deal about trying to get everyone here to at least ride your bike to work for a day or two during that week. Clean air is a real issue here especially during the winter months when we get inversion layers. hmmm....maybe I should write Sealy and see if they wanna sponser the city during that week next year??

Hey! Nothing wrong with riding the pillow! Pillow saddle is a nice proposition, but on my ultra girly baby blue bike with streamers, might be pushing it. I dunno about that body pillow, felt good post race, but probably ought to leave it be until at least Monday night from here on out!

No, actually I was trying to unclip the right foot because that was the side that was upright. The left was under the pillow, silly.

Anyway, for those who were wondering ride your bike to work week, according to the advert in B*******g is May 16th -21st. I'm trying to rent a road bike for the week, and the shop has nothing in my size yet!!! GRRRR!

We have a bike to work week as well, but I think there is about zero impact since I don't see any new participants. I did enjoy getting a free water bottle and luna bar sample last year... wish I could buy the Lunas in sample size....

As for unclipping in a dream... man, that's like super-special-unclipping-kung-fu!!! (sorry, just watched Kung-Fu Hustle!)
