In case you didn't get the link:
Info on next year's ride (in May...hopefully a tad warmer and dryer!) and pix of this year's ride (not very good, but perhaps you can spot someone you know).

I'd sign up again.

Are you all doing any other rides of a similar length this spring/summer? I'm new to biking, but looking to do some rides in the DC area of the 50+ mile range...
Here's a good listing: http://ohbike.org/events/index.htm
I plan to do the Patuxent River metric ride on June 7th (but it's the day after I get back from a business trip to Colorado...so I'm not sure).

I got an email this week from Terry cycles about the registration of the 2009 WGC in MD. It said it is open to 700 entries, and there were 300 already signed up when the email was sent. I signed up along with my cycling partner. NOw to work on hotel reservations for the area. I dont have a kayak (yet) but they were doing a kayak outing the day before so the email said. Besides, would the hotels allow kayaks and bikes to be in the rooms? I have no way to lock up a kayak, and my bike has never spent a night out side and I don't ever plan on letting her do that. I think the date for the ride was May 3rd but don't quote me.
Shelly, we're all over this one already. Come join us on the 2009 WGC thread!
