Cyclo-X in the Winter Olympics

Does anyone know if/when Cyclo-X will become an official Olympic event? I googled but found nothing. Is it even being considered as an exhibition sport?

Oh, that would be awesome! I was watching the bmx racing & wishing 'cross were part of these games, but you're right! It should be a winter sport
