Geocache by bike: Sunday 29 June

North end of Lake Washington, probably on the earlier side of the morning to avoid the crowds on the Burke and Lake Samm trails.

PM me if anyone is interested. I'd like to plan a big ol' TE caching event for later this summer, and this little jaunt will be a sort of dry run for that one.

ETA: the big one will include a stop at RedHook, of course!

I wish I could go. It looks fascinating and I've never done it before. Unfortunately, I'm going to be at work...but maybe another time? I'm usually off Sundays. Usually. Unless there's something fun going on

I wanna do a biggie (there's a multicache along the trail, which would be fun to do as a group) later this summer, maybe cache our way to RedHook, then do a TE lunch.

We could set a meeting time for RedHook so those who didn't want to cache could ride out to Marymoor and back instead. Or something like that.

    Anyway, that's down the road.

It's looking *too* beautiful this morning, I might ride down to the beach and the ferry dock right now. Maybe ride the B-G later today.

The beach was gorgeous this morning! Watched scuba divers, ferries, herons, and saw the tide change (I love it when I get to see that). Looked at boats, daydreamed about living aboard (I know the reality of live-aboards, no fear!). Ate breakfast on a bench. Saw a very nice Davidson tandem with s+s couplers.

Anyway, I'm planning on heading to the Lake Forest Park farmer's market http://www.thirdplacecommons.org/farmersmarket/ this afternoon, and perhaps also to Recycled Cycles www.recycledcycles.com to pick up a bar-mounted coffee mug. http://somafab.com/morningrush.html

Not planning to geocache today (too beautiful!) but if anyone wants to meet up with me somewhere along the way, let me know!

I only know the basics about geocaching and that is only what I've researched when I saw someone here talk about it. I would love to go, it sounds like such an adventure! I wouldn't be good for much...but I'd like to do it anyway.

I'm all about Red Hook too

I hope everyone is enjoying the day today. I did a quick ride up the Interurban (the one between 107th and 205th) just to ride. Now I'm at work.
