    update on Lorelei.

Just to let all know Lore is doing ok. She is getting over a virus right now but it doesn't seem to be doing anything but giving her a bad cough. It is the first time she has been sick since....well she is sick hmmmmm? Not sure how to word that? She is sick with something they can't figure out but this is her first normal sick. Does that make since?
They are coming to visit next week. I can't wait! We are going to take the girls to the beach and our brand new really cool childrens museum. I can't wait.
They still don't know what happend to her or if it is still hurting her. She doesn't seem worse but healing is soooooooo slow with her. But considering what she went through there is no dought it might take her a while to get better.
Keep her in your thoughts and prayer's.
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Glad to hear Lorelei is slowly improving. It used to be the fashionable thing to do to go to the beach for recover, get away from the bad air, and all that. Fun in the sun, playing in sand and sea, has got to do some good.

Too bad a stray virus decided to attack, but it's good to hear that she could deal with it in a normal fashion.

    Hope she continues to improve!

If she's responding to this bug in her previously normal way, then that in itself is a good sign! It means her immune system is working as it should!

Thanks for the update, Brandi. You plan on teaching her some sand sculpting skills on that beach trip?

They will probably teach me something in the sand.
it sounds like she might have an ear infection right now from this cold. they are going to the Dr's this morning to get her checked out. She is not going to be happy about that.

I was never happy about having an ear infection (had a lot of them), but usually happy enough once the doctor had dealt with it (ear drops, pain relief). I can see where she probably isn't happy about seeing doctors these days, but if the doctor helps then maybe she can start on forgiving them.

I totally know what you mean about the first time being sick since she was sick. When I was sick, I didn't get a virus for a year and a half. I was so happy to get my first cold after that!

And, yes, if the doc can make the ear infection clear up fast, she just might start to associate them with relief instead of pain and fear.

Sending lots of extra butterflies for the healing of this virus, a fabulous visit and healing time at the beach, and for her continued recovery.

    Hugs, too,

How good to hear she is improving. Now she just needs some time with her Aunt Brandi.

Brandi, thank-you for keeping us updated. I'm glad to hear that Lorelei is doing so much better. I hope for her on-going recovery so that she and your family may put this well behind you. May she have her health and the continued blessing of the love of her family.

    Take care,

    ~Soo
