I'm a hopeless bike geek... Every time I would read something about bikes and components and their weights and features, I had a heck of a time remembering all the specs of my bike for comparison. So... I made up a document that has absolutely every spec I can think of on my bike. See the pdf attachment if you are curious: Blue.pdf
This is so typical for me. I always approach my hobbies and interests with a very over-the-top nerdy attitude.![]()

"The best rides are the ones where you bite off much more than you can chew, and live through it." ~ Doug Bradbury
how come you don't list the actual weights of the tubes?![]()
extreme geekiness?.... or extreme weight-weenie-ness?![]()
Nice document, but you're missing all sorts of data:
seat height above TT
seat set back
crank length
height of stem spacers
etc

I can't believe you're actually all looking... What does that say about you?
I'm not a weight weenie, because I actually didn't buy low-weight components and wheels. I'm just really curious about where the weight comes from on a bike, so when I read in Bicycling about a 1000g wheelset, I know what that means compared to my bike (which is plenty light for me). That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it...
MDHillSlug... Don't get me started. I do actually have all that fit info in another place.![]()

That I'm also twisted!I'm a self-admitted data nerd. I love logging my miles and workouts. I LOVE all the data I get from my Garmin, even if I don't yet know how to use it for improving my riding and training.
As soon as I buy a bike I grab all of the specs off the website, and their stock picture, so that I can refer back to it even if they remove it from the site. It's killing me that I lost the spreadsheet I had on the upgraded components I've purchased.
It's actually very good to have in case you need to set up your bike again after it's been in the shop or if you're trying to adjust a new/borrowed/rented bike to feel like what you are used to or see if that potential new bike can be made to fit. I know a lot of those measurements but haven't yet put them into a document like yours.MDHillSlug... Don't get me started. I do actually have all that fit info in another place.![]()

Yeah, just try ordering a longer seat post without knowing the diameter of your current seat post. :P
