Yes, I hath returned to the fold, but I am sick! Stupid walk-in clinics: Go to get a physical, walk away with the flu.

Any soup recipes? I already drank green tea and ate an orange... I might not have much energy left to make soup after this.
    I enjoy it all.

    (Anywhere remember this song?

    Suzanne takes you down
To her place by the river
You can hear the boats go by
You can spend the night forever

And you know the girl's half crazy
And that's why you want to be there
And she feeds you tea and oranges
That come all the way from China

    Hmmmm....maybe skip the China part.....

Yes, lead poisoning always seems to throw a monkey wrench in one's plans.

When I had the flu I lived on Clif Shot Bloks and Clif electrolyte. The fever took away my appetite and the sore throat made it a misery to eat, but my bike fuel kept me going for 3 or 4 days.

Sorry you caught it, it's just nasty!

    Ugh.

Not much easier than miso soup. 1-2 tbsp of miso in a mug, gradually stir in hot water. Add tofu cubes, sliced scallions or dried wakame if you like.

That's about all the energy for cooking I have when I'm sick! Hope you feel better soon! <dealing with a sinus infection here >

Stomach bug hit our house. I'm praying I don't catch it, but I know it is hopeless. As the only healthy body, guess who gets to clean up the messes.

So you go out carousing, living it up and come crawling back when you're sick.

Carousing and boozing, being loose and pulling crazy shenanigans no one should do.

Not really, trying to get through school and earn enough for a new bike. Actually, two new bikes...

Something like that. Ok, going back to bed now. It feels like I have run a marathon without doing anything at all.

HOpe you are feeling better..I work in the healthcare profession, I think some of my co-workers are sicker than the clients we treat..I know, I can hear it now..they should stay home, I agree, but who's gonna work for us? NO ONE..and they smile at us when we come to work sick and we get scolded for taking time off because we are sick..it's a no win profession. BUT to get back to topic, NICE bikes, esp. the Jamis..that would be my choice. Get some rest and drink fluids..
