Back in the saddle again ...

Hey guys. I haven't been on this board in a while. I was out of cycling mode for a few months. Some friends of ours are planning on doing the Tour de Palm Springs century on their tandem and have been trying to convince us to do it with them. Well, three weeks before the event, we decided to get on the tandem!

And then we rode again the next day and then I rode my single again the next day. So, I'm all into it again. Even sucking another friend into cycling now. She tried our friend's Ruby Expert yesterday and is now looking to find the best deal possible on one. So, I'm excited to be gaining a new cycling buddy soon.

Last year was my first full season of riding and getting my own single (Cannondale CAAD9 w/ Dura Ace). I did a century on the tandem and a 50 mile organized ride on the single. I plan on doing a full century on the single this year. Haven't decided which one yet.

Here's to riding again! (It's COLD out there! And I'm in So California. Can't imagine riding in the kind of weather some of you ladies ride in!)

Hi Jiffer...congratulations on the renewed interest in cycling! I'm in so Cal. too. What area are you in?

I'm in Rancho Cucamonga. Grew up in HB, though and love riding the bike trail to the beach.
