first tri of the season?

Hey, what are you guys looking at as your first tri of the next season?

I am hoping to find a decently close olympic race in Florida around March (maybe it is not likely) so I can get some more practice at transitions, etc..

Also, anyone in Arizona doing the open water swim 'race' in March at Tempe?

I am thinking about flying to AZ to do that.

My first is at the end of June, which seems late but is pretty good. It's too chilly up here for earlier, and I'm training for the Indy Mini Marathon in May.

I am doing the March Triathlon (olympic) on 3/22, near San Luis Obispo. It is put on by Cal Poly, where I went to school.

But I am doing a sprint tri this weekend!! It'll be my first.
