    Rear rack for mtb?

I'm Christmas shopping for DH and he's wanting a rear rack and trunk for his '08 Gary Fisher Montare mtb. We tried an Axiom rack but the reach was too short to fit the mtb so he mounted it on the road bike.

Can you recommend a rack and trunk?

Old Man Mountain racks are great! They have them at the Arkel OverDesign site...

I have a Sherpa rear rack and it's really nice. You can specify if you want one that's disc brake compatable, too.

And if you want...you can check out my review and picture of the panniers I got earlier this year. My bike is the first one on the page.

Thank you Oxysback. I showed the website to hubby and he's going to research the different racks.
