Martha's Vineyard on Sunday 11/25/2007

I see that a lot of women here are near me so I thought I'd post this here to see if anyone is interested.

ok, here's the plan:

The Cape Cod Cyclists are planning a Vineyard ride for the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The details are as follows.

1. Martha's Vineyard Tour aound the island to leave from Woods Hole. Park at the beach (Surf Drive parking lot), and ride to Woods Hole, take the Steamship over To Martha's Vineyard. Ride from Vineyard Haven, and tour the perimeter of the island. November 25, 2007.

2. We need to be in the surf drive parking lot at 8:30. we will ride into Woods Hole to catch th 9:30 ferry, The ferry will arrive at 10:30 and we will take the 2:30 (or 3:45) Ferry back. we will have cue sheets for the route.

The ride from Surf Drive to Woods Hole is 4.5 miles, so that's 9 miles R/T. The island tour is looking like 45 - 50. You could cut out the 9 miles and park in one of the ferry lots.

We're trying to get as many people as possible for this ride and are planning some treats along the way. If you think you might make it or want more info, call, PM, or email me. Tickets will be $20 for 1 person w/bike. We may be able to get a group rate if we get enough people. We'll probably do 14 - 15 MPH but no one will be left behind.
