CWC Lost and Found Box

The Lost and Found box was returned at the end of the event with two
pairs of shoes: a Time yellow and red road pair, and a Specialized black
and red mountain pair. There is also a pair of mesh cycling gloves and
2 pairs of sunglasses. Not exactly in the box is a Mavic wheel. Contact
me with details and I will see if the items can be returned.

How could anyone forget their shoes and a wheel?
I guess maybe they left them by the car out in that hellish field.
I had shin splints from walking that field.

We left a race and got about 3/4 of a mile before my husband realized he wasn't wearing his shoes once... and those were his street shoes. I'll bet those poor folks took their cycling shoes off their aching dogs and set them down outside of the car only to forget to put them in. That probably goes for the wheel as well. Took it off to put the bike on a roof rack and forgot to put it in the trunk. That's why we always do a walk around the car before we leave a race or ride these days.
