    Leg Muscle

Hello all!! I'm new here and this forum rocks!!
This will probably sound weird but I love legs and want to get mine as big as they can get. So I ride my bike every other day and my legs are getting big but not as big as I would like. I ride a MTB that has been modified to a rode bike, thinner wheels, clipless pedals but still have the MTB handlebars. I’ve been riding since the end of April and have accumulated 570 miles this summer. Not that much but I’ve just started. Next summer I plan on buying a road bike. My point to all of this is that I am wanting to build as much muscle as I can. My question is; how big do you think I can get my legs by just riding my bike?? Next summer I plan on roller blading as well as riding my bike. I just love to ride so that’s all I really care to do. Any suggestions on how I can get my legs even bigger??

Hi mllymcbtr and welcome to the forum! You might try weight lifting for bigger leg muscles. I noticed that squats really do a great job right around the knee area and thigh. This website has some great info: women's weight training

Mash in high gears. It might be bad for your knees, but it'll probably build muscle faster.
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...
