    has anybody done this in the past? how is it? how are the hills?

    i keep looking at the page about it.. and i'm really thinking about trying it as my first organized ride! not sure i can do 65??? i've only got 43.5 so far!

    Their site says "both begin with a 3 mile, 8% climb"... That's pretty tough. Have you done anything like that before? It seems odd that they have a metric century and a half-century (65 and 50 miles). It seems like most have a full century and either a metric or half. There isn't that much difference betwen 50 and 65... (Duhhh... 15 miles) Well, you know what I mean...

    It sounds like a beautiful ride. I think you should go for it. You're tougher than you think! You should try to take on a little tiny bit more than you think you can do... Then just do it! (Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like a Nike commercial).

    i've ridden up oak glen, forest falls and GMR (just posted about that in the adventure forum! 22 miles up to mount baldy! whoa!)
