It was Gorgeous today so I just Had to take Baby out for a noon ride! I hate those coz then I don't wanna come back to work - but I Made myself NOT check the posts here until I came back. Sort of a reward for making it back to work! Rode 14 miles in a SS jersey, bikie socks and shorts - talk about feeling almost naked after wearing so many layers for the winter!! Now I know how my dogs feel when they start shedding their winter coats!!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Ha, ha! Corsair, I was reading your posts on the other threads, thinking to myself, "my, she's feeling frisky today!" That noon ride really recharges a body's batteries!! So glad you've got good weather and good riding. Maybe the office should think about getting everyone out there to ward off those after-lunch "bleenies"!!!

Checking up on me eh?? LOL

Rain Schmain - I still rode! (just call me Goofy) I got rained on, hailed on, had headwinds at over 15+mph for over 1/2 the ride - but I still rode. I just kept thinking to myself: neither rain, nor hail, nor dark of night will stop this rider from her flight! Tonight I'll be pulling into Cortez, CO as part of my virtual RAAM ride! oh yeah - 1 goal down!

    Hey Goofy!

Good on ya! Since you ride a bikepath, why not get out in the weather? You never know when that century you planned to ride will be held in the midst of a hurricane (lots of those in Albuquerque, eh?)

You go girl! Shake your fist at the weather Goddess, laugh crazily and ride like the wind!
To train a dog, you must be more interesting than dirt.
