finally got to ride! and new tattoo

ok, so after having horrible knee pain for the past 3 months, and being off the bike for the past month I had arthoscopic surgery last week. THey found the problem and took care of it (plica issue). I went to the ortho yesterday and he told me(he is also a cyclist, hehe) that the best physical therapy he could prescribe me is the bike, so I could start that day.
Well I had to go to school last night, so I had to start today.
I did 18 miles and it felt great! (well the last 5 started to ache a little) i know, it is about 10 more then he probably thought I would do the first day, but it is my short ride... Anyways it felt soooo great to be out there, i even did a couple really short intervals. I hate how small my upper legs and butt look in my shorts though, ahh definitaly need to get them bigger again!
Oh! and this morning I was so excited about finally being able to get back on the bike I decided to get this little tattoo I have wanted for ages, as a little treat

    Thumbs up Love the Tat!

Great to be back on the bike isn't it? I was off mine for almost three weeks with very persist cold/lung issues. Finally decided breathing was highly over rated and started riding anyway. It felt great.

Great tat too! Nothing like a new tatoo! My lastest has a very similiar look. I've got a photo on my home computer. When I get home MAYBE I can post it here without my daughters help. My next tat (in two weeks) is going to be an ankle one too. bikerHen

Wow, do I detect a cyclist on your ankle? Love it.

Here's the pic of my tattoo for you. I finally managed to post it, with much help from my daughter. It's on the back of my left arm. I wanted to add a choice word (starting with A and ending with hole) below the "Share the Road" for all the idiots with cars, but I didn't think my boss would appreciate it.

Awesome tatoo's!! Thanks, I've been fighting with the idea, and I think you guys just gave me the final nudge to do it! I figure I had my daughter all natural so it CAN"T hurt much more then that.

Sadly, getting a tattoo doesn't seem to hurt me all that much. That must be why I keep getting them. Or as my daughter was explaining to a customer, I'm just going through a rebellious stage. They certainly don't hurt as much as child birth, the process is a lot shorter, and they require very little care and no feeding!

Glad I could do my part in helping you get a little ink! bikerHen

Starting to think I *need* a chainring on the back of my right calf.

Flossie *needs* a beautiful outer chainring, 48t, silver, 110 bcd, preferably ramped.

Now the question is: who gets her chainring first?
    (I'm betting Flossie does...)
