Question Saddle or britches; how to know...

How do I know which is giving me the problem? I have been using the stock Bianchi seat on my bike for the last 6 weeks (it is some kind of Fizik) and have only been having problems for the last two; That is when our training mileage has gotten significantly longer 50 miles two weeks ago and 60 this past week.

I am noticing that I am riding significantly on the left side of my "girly bits" and have numbness for an hour or so after the ride before it subsides. For several days after that I get the occasional sharp shooting pain in soft tissue area on the left side.

Sorry to be so graphic; but I need help! I can't complete my first Century with this pain!

My knickers are the new Terry Plus Knicker that I ordered here; have worn them about 6 times. I also just ordered the Terry Falcon X seat to try to change that; it should be in tomorrow. I have a hard time trying to find good quality bike short/knickers because of my 1x sizing.

Ladies please help. Saddle or shorts?
I just keep telling myself..."I am the Tortise; slow and steady finishes the race." I am the Tortise, coo coo ca choo.

do you have shorts in several different styles? If so, I would see if there is a difference between the shorts

Sadly I only have one pair that I wear! Rather difficult to find different cycling shorts and knickers in my size in different brands. Mostly have to order on line.

I have Terry knickers and a pair of Terry tights. The tights are just a bit too big. Too hot here to be wearing the tights right now; but they do have different padding inside.

    Geez, I forgot.
I'm also extra fluffy (1x). I like the SheBeest Triple S. It's what I wore during the 300K(190 miles) I did on Saturday

    Celeste,
You should phone the TE store and just ask their advice- they are all cycling women there with lots of experience in helping find the right short for the right woman- of any size and shape and riding needs.
