Funny, but not a bull's-eye in terms of April Fools jokes. The perfect AFjoke also involves the fool doing something, thus proving beyond denial that the fool has in fact been fooled. For instance, one classic in Norway was the headline story in an April 1 newspaper (years ago now) that the liquor monopoly bottling plant had run out of wine bottles. People just weren't returning them fast enough. So to solve the problem, anybody showing up at the plant with at least 4 clean bottles, could get one filled for free. People were lined up for blocks!
