I was going to use my fathers bike, who is not much bigger than me in the upcoming PMC (Pan Mass Challenge) this summer. However, my arms aren't long enough.

So i need to find a bike soon. And was wondering if you guys could recommend good quality bikes for low prices? or maybe where i could find good used bikes. i'm new to the world of cycling but really want to be involved this year. However, i dont want a cheap bike. (83 miles in a day needs some decent mechanics behind it.

Any input would be amazing.
