UPS guy came by (I guess neither rain nor sleet stops them either). I got all excited b/c I thought it might be my new saddle!! Alas, it was a package for a neighbor.
Spring cannot get here soon enough for me.

Mid day and it's still raining. Everything is covered in a coating of clear ice. Branches cracking and falling from the weight, covering the yard. The whole family is just hanging, still in pajamas, watching the rain.
Trying to muster the energy to ride the trainer. No reason not to, just am so warm and cozy in my jammies and blanket by the fire. I'm acutely aware of the Girl, downstairs in the cold basement. Waiting..

Amen! It started snowing here last night and looks like it has finally stopped.Spring cannot get here soon enough for me.
Not sure of the official amount (was about 10" at 5 p.m.) and more is threatened for tonight. Ick.
Then I thank every deity available that I don't live in upstate New York and have to face a bazillion inches of snow.
