    Weigh-in Week of February 10th

So how's everyone doing? Are those New Year's resolutions falling by the wayside yet? This is the toughest time for me. The initial motivation is gone and the real work begins. That being said, I was happy to be down a little this morning. I do mean a little, since last Saturday, I was 123.6 and today I was 123.2 but I will take any loss I can. Then I did 25 km on the bike and weighed in at 122.1. We'll see how long that lasts. If I can ride a couple of times a week now that the temps are above freezing, maybe I can see some real losses.

    Good luck all!

Hmmm, looks like everyone else has fallen off the wagon? Hope not.

I just wanted to add that I weighed in at 121.8 this morning. Go figure!!! Maybe my body finally just said "FINE, you've been starving yourself for a month, get rid of the fat." Cross your fingers that it doesn't all come back later this week.

I'm still clinging to the wagons bumper...

I lost a measley .8 of a lb this week... sigh... ARGH!!!
I had a super clean diet and everything. I just don't know what to do anymore?? But I guess a loss is a LOSS... sigh...
The really strange thing is Friday I was peeing like you wouldn't believe so I was convinced that I was going to have a great weigh in. And then I got on the scale this morning to see .8.... sigh, whaddya gonna do?
I know what I'm going to do. Keep plugging away. I feel good, so onward I go.
Oh- and I did measure today. I've lost a total of 3.5 inches since my last check on Jan 29th. So there is progress.

Runningmommy - 3.5 inches is great! I haven't been losing any inches it seems after the initial big loss. Guess I need to work out more. Anyway - just wanted to say that I had two weeks in a row with .2 lb loss each week. This week, I'm down almost 2 lbs. Maybe it just took some time to actually disappear. So don't give up!!

Ladies can I join? I started WW online the first of the year and have lost 12 pounds. Today is my weigh-in day and I was at 146. I'd like a recommendation for scales. The ones we have seem prone to roving e.g., depending on where you stand your weight can vary 2 lbs.

Well, I'm not sure what to report. First off, I was back up to 146 lbs this week. Having said that, I got my period. I maxed out at 147 the last time I got my cycle so maybe that's a good sign. Today, I was back down to 143. Last week I had gotten down to 142.

So, I think I'm not going to weigh myself the week I get my period. It just doesn't reflect what's happening with my body. The good news is that I can see my triceps again with hardly a sign of "cottage cheese" and my waist band is still looser. Unfortunately, my legs are still big enough to make it hard to buy clothes. I even had to send back a pair of tri shorts to TE! But the leg thing may not change. They don't call me quadzilla for nothing.

I altered a few things and lost 6 pounds and 3 inches this past week. No, I do not expect or want that drastic of a change each week. Between the holidays and my anti-stroke meds, I gained and added fluid retention. I am most interested in my measurements, not my weight, but is someone is keeping a collective weight loss tally I will weigh in weekly.

I am actually rather happy with my shape. I am trying to build up more lean muscle. I wear a size 6 and hope to stay there. The thunder thighs are mighty and I doubt they will get much smaller.
