I'll be going to North Carolina next weekend, I'm very excited.

We thought we'd go to Tsali but decided on Pisgah Forest.
Has anyone ever rode those trails?

    figured I'd ask...

    Have a great ride girls...

I've ridden both Pisgah and Tsali. If you have time, why not try both? Tsali is less technical and seemed to have lots of nice open views (it's right on the lake). I only got to ride 1/2...1/2 of the trails are open to horses and the other 1/2 is open to bikes...and they alternate (so you actually need at least two days to ride ~all~ of Tsali).
Pisgah seemed to be the better overall experience. Take your climbing legs! Lots of logging-road climbs with technical (rocky, rooty) downhills. It's a really beautiful area and the camping *looks* great (we stayed in hotels on that trip )
