The people at my REI are starting to think I am nuts, I'm sure. I suspect they think I am hoarding gels.
Last month I went to stock up late at night, right before they closed. When I got to the register and dumped the pile of gels and beans (they don't have bloks
) on the counter, the woman asked how I was doing. I answered "hungry!" but much to my dismay, she didn't get the joke. Here I was trying to be funny... 
When they start to recognize you, you know you're in trouble. I'm waiting for one of them to ask me how the gels taste so I can describe the texture, it always makes people make this disgusting Mr Yuk face.

I always get my Bloks by the case, but when I went to REI tonight they were completely out of cases. So I bought all 14 of their remaining Cran-Razz packets. Now they have NONE in the whole store! Moooo-heheh!

I used the sale on Clif bars to try the seasonal flavors...OMG, they are so yummy! I just about bit my own fingers I was gobbling up the iced gingerbread so quickly! And today I had the spiced pumpkin pie....YUM! I haven't tried the carmel apple, but I'm sure it'll be awesome.
Damn you REI and your Clif bar sale!
On a side but related note: we get our very own REI in my town in exactly 1 week!! I won't have to drive an hour for my fix anymore!

FYI,
Whole Foods' regular everyday price for Clif Bars is the same as REI's sale price (.99)
My local store just got the holiday flavors but unfortunately, they don't carry the shot blocks.
