Tour De Farm and Post ride BBQ!!

Hey Ladies-
I'm posting this in the main forum so that everyone within driving distance will read it.
I just registered for the "tour de farm", which could also be called the "tour de Denise's hood" since it goes right by my house!

It's Saturday Oct 21st- check the particulars out here:

After the ride I'm going to have a BBQ at my house and would LOVE to see as many smiling TE faces as possible!!!
I also have a spare room and plenty of couch space if any out of towners need a place to crash.
I'm hoping maybe some so cal girls will be up for a little desert riding.
One thing I can promise is that it's going to be a ROCKIN good time!!
So come on out and see the farms of beeeyouuuteeful goodyear Arizona!!!

Oh- I just remembered there is going to be a hot air balloon festival at the goodyear airport that weekend, so the skies should be quite colorful as well.

Ohhhhhhh Denise, I'm so tempted to come out and do that ride! It's all my favorite things: riding, Arizona, hot air balloons, BBQ and cycling nuts like myself.

I would LOVE to meet you, and to see my home state of AZ again....I do miss her.

I'll seriously consider it, as we are on Fall Break from school that weekend, and I might be able to swing it (but only if DH can get off because I won't drive 20+ hours alone). Thanks for the invite! I'll PM you if I'm going to make it out that way.

Oh yes there will be pics! And hey, I may even do a video of the bbq!! But then again maybe some people won't want to be on film...

I was thinking lastnight that I'd better pick up some new towels so that everyone can have a nice shower after the ride. Or you can just jump in the pool!! I;m sure the pool will be popular to soak our weary legs!!

I'd hate to put my dirty, sweaty self in your pool without a shower! Or maybe you have a garden hose I could use! That would work!

Although I'm probably biting off more than I can chew... I'm registered!

Of course I waited too long to grab a hotel in Goodyear but I found one pretty close!

I'm a little worried about the boys so I'd like to talk to you a bit more about the whole babysitting thing...

don't you worry there little missy! I'm working on the babysitter. If my usual sitter isn't available I'll reach into my reserve pack...

We have a ton of teenage girls up here who love to sit for me because I pay so well!! ha ha ha
