Missliz is absolutly right about learning to clip-in a 3 o'clock- 9 o'clock clip in the other foot...and yes, mountain bikers have a lot to loose when fallin on cactus, rocks trees, ect. MT riders...

Well, I must chime in on this thread. I'm the queen of "I can't ride with both feet clipped"...and I had a million reasons. I bet I rode one foot clipped in and the other out for a few months...for...
Sounds as if you have things under control as far as 2 liters water and one sports bottle with a rehydration mix. What kind of temps are you talking about--80's 90's?
I did post some...

Well, he's still young and I hope he makes a future come back.
I love watching him in motion.

I like the fabrics in Giordana and RLX...almost identical. Both also make XS (p&pwoman). I like the Zoic stuff, when I can find it...last year, Marshalls had a slew of the Zoic's for a great...
Changing the way you eat is considered a "lifestyle change" or "lifestyle choice"...call it what you may, but it all takes "practice". It shouldn't be THE focus of your being UNLESS you are told by a...
This low-carb thing is really something...the way I see it (and I see it all day everyday from training people for a living) is, everyone metabolizes DIFFERENTLY, yet, we all have the same, basic...
Absolutly incredible trip and threads...really feel the thrill and joy of the trip!!! Can hardly wait for cooler weather here in the southwest. (we're inside spinning these days)

Are you 50 yet?
I'm sorta' kidding... the inside "kidding" is, with age, comes the dreaded "A" word...actually, there are 3 "A" words.
Age-appropriate Athletic Arthritis...

How did you all feel about the SWAT team "removing" the protesters on stage 10? Those guys did not hold back! Oh my...
It never occured to me until I saw the SWAT guys come out of no where that...
Petacchi dropped-out with classical Italian flare...he stopped, he got off the bike, he handed it over to an aid, got in the back seat of the team car and off he went! I only wish he would have worn...
Yes, it has been fantastic all the way around. I think for cyclist to ride on such harsh, painful injuries takes a certain kind of genetically gifted person...I'm convinced that they are "true...
Well, as an Arizona rider, I can only tell you what works for me.
As you know, everybody around here has their own remedies and ways of doin' things...

I've had a recent cycle snob story, but it goes back to one of those threads from spring about women being rude to other women in the sport...
So, there were bunch of local cyclist, all levels,...
Roxgirl,
I agree with your question as to why spin classes make a thing out of "pedal fast down hill"... I don't get it either. In mountain biking, as well as road cycling, you don't use granny...
All of the above riders and picks are right on the money. It is scandelous about Cippolini. I'm almost hoping for a "strike" of sorts, but...I doubt it.
I do the "mother thing" and record the...
