I’m wondering if anyone has tried making brown rice in an Instapot, I suck at stove top brn. rice. I hate to buy as rice cooker, but might consider the Instapot for it's multi uses.

Yes we do live in a beautiful state! I've been thinking how lovely a drive that would be. Haven't been up there for many years. I'm in awe of riding it! Very impressive.
Fall brings Winter. Summer is better than Winter cuz I can ride my bike just about anytime without worrying about inclimate weather and darkness. So I'm not so excited about Fall. Sorry. Life in...
Boy, tough question, one many of us have asked at various times. I thought I wanted to ride packed trails, gravel and scoot around the campground. I purchase a comfort bike, like the paved rails to...
Warm and sunny today. To celebrate our anniversary (which was yesterday), wer rode 50+miles on rural roads in southwest WA, out the front door. It was a nice mix of hilly and not so hilly....
AZ, Cranking: Nice to read feel good stories about our kids enjoying cycling.
By the way, thanks to the super active young lady our son married, our son never laughs at us in cycling gear anymore;...
Totally makes sense ! We understand and support the artist in you! Congrats!
I bought a mountain bike yesterday. Does that count? Brought home a very girly (purple accents) Liv Tempt 2. It's a hard tail. Just planning on some light trails, gravel, camping, nothing serious....
Hills are such a mental thing! We went for a ride on local country roads yesterday. No big deal, except I finally felt ready for my "nemesis" hill. It's 8/10 of a mile, but turns out I've been...
Welcome! Careful, cycling can be very addictive, you'll find you would much rather go for long rides than clean house! Just warning you!
Well we ended up with Giant hard tail mountain bikes. DH got the Talon 2, I got the Tempt 2 (women's version). Will be visiting the Hiawatha trail next weekend. We also picked up handlebar mounted...
Like, like, like! Good job.
Just for you that may not have grasped kbh's discription of the incredibly beautiful and STEEP HILLS she rode at Mt Rainier, well I'll just say it's steep by car! Oh, and way to recover from your...
Our group of four also had a great two day ride. We rode 140 miles to Castle Rock the 1st day, which made Sunday pretty easy. This was our 2nd ride. I felt much stronger and way more confident this...
Also rode STP in two days. Khg really summed it up. I tried posting in NW last night, but must have fallen asleep in the process! Will try again soon. Massage today!
Getting ready and a bit nervous! The butterflies hit all at once!
World's Largest Egg, Winlock, WA in the background! We are getting ready for STP in 3 weeks. We rode from home through beautiful, low traffic farm country. Lots of hills and valleys. We are so...
Welcome and you might want to double your budget! Just sayin.
Kinda like being a kid again! Welcome, but be careful, cycling can be very addictive.
Just have fun and see where you go! Enjoy and welcome.
How scary! So glad you weren't hurt worse! What a stupid mistake on the driver's part. And the officer, well totally ridiculous! So sorry for your pain and ruined summer. There are some really busy...
Really like to get involved in this conversation, but I need to go paint the hallway! No bike upgrades in near future, we're gonna install new interior doors!!!!
So, in short YES, YOU NEED A NEW...
Sometimes I can't stand alone because I'm too tired. Let's just hope it doesn't become my motto:eek:
Muirenn, Sounds like I need to check out the Lizards Skins tape. Why do you like it so much. Padding, grip, looks???
I just ordered new shorts, so guess I'm loving the white tape, at least for...
23 on Sat. With a quick stop at DQ! 58 on Sunday. A few good hills, no pictures, sore butt, sore quads. Boy am I out of shape!
Good weather and enjoyed riding with DH as usual.
