The Most Beautiful Kayak In The World

Oh my goodness. I don't have the time, money or space to go kayak-shopping right now, but unfortunately a friend of mine does, and I'm signed on as wing man, which means I've spent way too much time looking for kayaks the last few days. And I think I have found my dream kayak.

I have no idea what it's like to paddle or if I can even get into it with aging knees, but when it looks like THIS you don't even have to paddle it, you can just hang it on the wall and smirk:

Drool-worthy for sure, but IMO for sheer beauty nothing beats a wooden 'yak. Not that I would want to haul or maintain one. But I could watch OTHER people paddle wooden kayaks all day.

I agree, wooden kayaks are absolutely gorgeous, so, with the caveat "(apart from handbuilt wooden ones)".

I've been considering taking a building course, just for the fun of it. I'm not sure I particularly want to have or paddle a SOF, but I'm sure I'd have a great time building one

Somebody (Cat?) tell me how ridiculous it would be to buy the Ivalu, when I like to paddle alone, I can't roll and the low rear deck makes self-rescue hard...
