    2011 Cervelo R3 56cm frame, fork, crankset

Virtually brand new 2011 Cervelo R3 frame, Cervélo FK30 fork, Cane Creek IS-3 headset, SRAM S900 BB30 50/34 compact crankset, and SRAM bottom bracket all included. Frame and matching fork are gloss black with red and white striping. Frame has and fork have only 161 total miles on them. Frame and fork have no marks or scratches at all, to all appearances they’re brand new. Oh, and this frame is very light: completely built with SRAM Rival it came in at 16.7 pounds, and that was with an aluminum bar and stem.

For a description of the frame far more thorough than what I can get into there, go to: http://www.cervelo.com/en_us/bikes/2011/R3/

Basic geometry: 56.4cm top tube, 73.0 degree seat tube angle, 73.5 degree head tube angle, frame reach: 38.7cm, frame stack: 58.0cm, 43mm rake. For complete geometry go to: http://www.cervelo.com/en_us/bikes/2011/R3/geometry/

Regarding the crankset: The new Cervelo BBright frame and bottom bracket, at 79mm, is a bit wider than is typical. With one of various adapters, a large variety of cranksets can be fitted to this frame including Shimano 24mm Hollowtech 2. However, three manufacturers are making cranksets specifically for the Cervelo BBright: Rotor, FSA, and SRAM. The crankset included with this frame is a variation of the SRAM S900 crankset made specifically for the Cervelo BBright frame design. Rather than require the new owner of this frame to find an adapter to make their crankset work, I thought it would be better to just include this crankset that is made for this frame design. The S900 crankset is intermediary between SRAM Rival and Force, but unlike Rival cranks, and like the Force crankset, it does have carbon crank arms. The 50t chainring has the wear you’d expect from being used intermittently for 161 miles; the 34t chainring, though, is brand new (I had a 36t chainring on it). These cranks have an arm length of 172.5mm. Read all about the crankset here: http://www.sram.com/sram/road/produc...-bb30-crankset

Other details that you may find useful:
    Crank arm length is 172.5mm
It takes a 27.2mm seatpost (seat collar clamp included with frame)
    Braze-on front derailleur
    1 1/8 diameter steer tube.
27.0 cm steer tube length (steer tube was not cut). Nutsert has been installed.

This exact frame with the FK30 SL fork, no cranks, sells new for $2800.

Frame (with seat post collar), fork, headset, bottom bracket, and crankset: $2100 plus shipping. Any shipping costs would be “actual” shipping costs only. I would be willing to entertain any reasonable offer so if you have a different price in mind just let me know. Anything is better than putting it on ebay (they take a serious bite these days).

This frame is very, very light, really fast, and, a little surprisingly, has a very nice ride (and this comes from someone who has a couple steel road bikes). Unfortunately, after just three or four rides it became obvious that the 56cm wasn't a bit too big for me, and that this poor fit was going to cause problems. It looks like I'm a bit too tall for the 54cm also, so I need to sell it and seriously consider going custom.

Of course, if you have any questions or would like some photos sent your way just PM me.

Bummer it doesn't fit you. I rented an RS in HI; it's a very nice ride.
