My Freecycle stuff nearly always goes to interesting people. I listed an old boombox, and it's going to be in an art installation! I don't know why things like this make me happy, but they do. I'm posting this tidbit here because so few of my friends understand my passion for keeping stuff out of the landfill.
The boombox belonged to my late mother, and even after four years, it's hard to give up something that was hers. She loved her books on tape, and used her boomboxes so much it was a family joke. So nice for it to have a useful second life!
