FS: XS LOOK 585 optimum elle frame, 2008

I'm going to be selling my look 585 optimum frame soon. it is an amazing frame and i wanted to keep it and build it up again someday, but being jobless i need to get rid of it to stay floating for a little while longer.

it is the 2008 model in an xs. the frame/fork retailed for 2700. i am selling the frame/headset alone for 800obo.

it has just over 1000 miles on it. the fork has a small crack where the break hole is from an accident, and shouldn't be used, but the frame is in excellent condition. The frame has been inspected by 3 separate mechanics who all said it is in perfect condition. i will also include the headset and whatever else i may have lying around. i think i have some extra look bottle cages that cost me 50 each i will include. you can have the fork too, and see if someone can repair it, but it is probably best to buy a new one.

the frame is carbon with a clear coat and the logos are white and blue and minimal for a look.

the seat tube c-t is 46.6cm
    the top tube is 50.9cm

they call it a 49cm, but it is on the small side for a traditional 49.

it is the frame pictured in the review above. It is currently in storage at my parents house, but I will be picking it up either when it sells or hopefully sooner so I can post actual pictures of the frame. It looks identical to the one in the picture.

I am in long beach, but can ship anywhere in the united states for $35. I also take paypal.

    thanks

FYI, Calfee doesn't repair broken forks, so you should probably toss the broken fork or see if Look will do some sort of cheap replacement.

i'm going to let the buyer of the frame figure out what they want to do to replace the fork. that is why i am letting the frame go at such a low price. i will happily get a replacement fork and sell the frame set complete for 1600 if someone doesn't want to go through the hassle of finding a fork themselves.

I was just thinking that Look might give you (the original owner) a warranty pricing deal on a replacement fork, which is an option the buyer wouldn't have. At any rate, the current fork is, as far as I can tell from dealing with Calfee, not fixable.
