    Want to buy/trade

I am looking for a good quality "do-it-all" frameset/bike. Requirements are:

    - steel (or titanium... but that's not really in my budget)
    - room for 700x28's or more
    - butted/double butted
    - approximately a 54.

examples include but not limited to: bianchi volpe or castro valley, jamis aurora or nova, trek 520, soma double cross

On a related note, I have come to the conclusion that my 50cm Gunnar Crosshairs does not fit me. It has a 50cm seatmast and approx 54cm effective top tube. I can get the exact specs from gunnar, as they changed the geometry for this year. If anyone is interested or has something to trade, let me know.

Willing to pay more for red!

Possibly, but not necessarily. I think there are some road bikes with long reach brakes that would work, as would touring bikes. What I want to be able to do is commute, ride on dirt/gravel, and do some light touring, so I'll need rack & fender eyelets. There are definitely some racey cross bikes that do not meet that criteria.

Hi so I asked a coworker who said a few weeks ago he was selling a cross bike... turns out it's a Bianchi axis (aluminum) 2006, 55cm, and he already found someone interested who is supposed to go pick it up next Monday (July 6th). He said that if for some reason the sale does not go through he will let me know. He is selling to this other guy for $650 and he said if it does not work out and I recommend someone he would do $600.
If I hear from him on Monday I will let you know and give you his email so y'all can talk.
