Did the magnet slip out of range? Battery in the transmitter AND receiver okay?

I got a Sigma wireless computer in March. It worked fine until May. It started showing "Too many signals" I think due to power lines, recovered later in the ride, then stopped for good as I neared home.
I changed batteries, called Sigma, and finally sent it to them. They claim it worked just fine on their test bike.
I got it back today, reinstalled it, and got nothing on a 24 mile ride. I expected occasional problems with a wireless computer since I live in a city, but I am flummoxed by this. I know it's installed properly since it worked for several months.
If anyone has ideas as to what the problem might be, I'd love to hear them.
Thanks,
Pam

For 3 days, I get to part of a thousand other journeys.
Batteries are new and the guy at Sigma said he tested both of them. The magnet and transmitter are lined up exactly. Heck, I even checked to make sure the magnet is still magnetic. So frustrating. The people at Sigma are really nice, though.

Did you check whether it (Sigma DTS 1606 wireless?) is working at home? That's, spin the wheel and the crank to check whether any numbers show up.
BTW, for the wireless one, you need to press the button to initialize it when it goes to the sleep mode. This is unlike the wired one (that's what I use 1606L).
No, it doesn't work at home either. I pressed the button to wake it up and I see zeros. Apparently it works in Illinois (where Sigma is) but not New York. Thanks for the suggestions, though.

There should be another reset button on the Transceiver(The unit that mounts on the fork) It sound you only pressed the button on the "head" unit (Sigma is in the only brand I know of that has a button on the fork unit)
