Hello! please help with saddles for very long tour!!

My sister and I are cycing from London to Sydney in a year and Im just wondering about a saddle for this kind of trip...

We are leaving in 10 weeks and are now at the manic organising stage!

Any help would be great!

It's really hard to make recommendations since everyone is different. The saddle I am happiest with - and the one I used on my 2002 cross-country (USA) trip is the Fizik Vitesse. I tried a number of saddles before settling on that one, including a Specialized saddle and 2 Terry saddles (one with a cut-out and one without) - I absolutely hated all of those, and the Vitesse felt right from the very beginning. Too bad that wasn't the first saddle I tried... You'll also find people who love Terry saddles and hate my choice. The only thing to do is to try them! See if you can find a bike shop that has a stock of saddles that you can borrow to see if you like them.

And there are a few other threads here with discussions about saddles - you might find some good tips there as well.
