So, hear this: two weeks ago I was peacefully riding on a long quiet stretch of road. Here comes this truck and someone in the passenger's seat throws a soda out of the window.
No, I am not kidding: I can tell they got it from Whataburger because the big orange W on the plastic cup is all I could notice while trying to move my head and avoid getting the flying cup right in my face!!!
Funny the things you notice in a split second...

I guess that they just wanted to get rid of it (littering - how about Don't mess with Texas???), and did not intend to throw it in my face, but still not a pleasant experience.
And I thought I had seen it all!

How awful! Do you think it was on purpose? Last week on our club Sat. ride a truck was coming towards us--we were all pretty spread out. A lid for a large cooler blew out of the back of the pickup! Fortunately it happened between two groups of us. It was scary; could have been terrible.
