Ugg, sort of fell out of commuting to work and now it's hard getting back into it. It always feels like I'm just too tired to go and wake up earlier especially with it being all dark. Also feel generally exhausted even when I sleep enough.

Schedule currently is.. martial arts on tues and sat. run on tues weds thurs sat. salsa on tues and thurs. and.. I'm sad to say not been biking.

The running I have to keep doing since I have a half and 2 full marathons this month. I guess I'm asking if anyone has any ideas/inspiration words so I can get started commuting again :P

wow your busy. my first thought, before i read how busy you were, was you have to burn energy to make energy. i think you have that one down as it is.

commuting is a great way to warm up and losen up your body. seems like its got a lot to handle. use your commute as more of a recovery ride then anything else. a chance to warm up your muscles and stretch them. your body and brain will thank you for it.

Sounds like burnout to me... You might find the energy for biking returns once you finish with the marathons this month. But for now, I think you should give yourself some slack and not worry about it. Just my two cents...

    RIding

I think Liberty is probably correct - take a break - when you go back to it you will feel all rejuvenated

I've been off the bike for about 3 weeks now - have had a hand injury, had lasix eye surgery and was just really lazy on top of it - Today I'm off to the mountain to go ride up an easy trail to see the fall color with by buds (my best 3 bike riding girlfriends) I can't wait!

Tomorrow we all go hiking with the boys.

and, hopefully, I can start commuting again. It is getting cold so I have to break out the cold weather gear

Hey liksani, How's the MA going? I plan to get to the dojo today myself, have not spent enough time there.
