There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".
Oh heavens. When it comes to workout music I'm shameless too. As I'll usually tell anybody who wants to listen once I've had a few drinks and the music starts playing, music that's good to dance to is usually not Good Music.
Squeezed in among Blondie and Iggy Pop I have:
Relax - FGTH
loads of Belinda Carlisle - "OOOOH, baby, do you know what that's worth!"
Britney Spears

Well- here it is...
my deep dark secret.
I mean, all you other guys' songs are to be found on my discman already.I profess I didn't find them that bad....I like a driving beat..it helps cadence you know?
But the the song I really really know is bad and is on my discman is:
<hangs head in shame>
Turtle Power
by Partnerz-in-Kryme from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles soundtrack.
and look at these lyrics!
We need help, like quick, on the double.
Have pity on the city, man it's in trouble!
We need heroes like the Lone Ranger
When Tonto came pronto, when there was danger.
They didn't say they'd be there in half an hour,
'Cause they displayed...Turtle Power!
T-U-R-T-L-E Power!
T-U-R-T-L-E Power!
T-U-R-T-L-E Power!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
but it's the BEAT man...it's the BEAT.
Kimba
I'm sooooo ashamed.....I need my sunglasses at nighttttt...
OMG- that's ANOTHER one!
Whe you come to the end of all you know-
and you are about to step off into the darkness
faith is knowing one of two things will happen-
there will be something solid to stand on-
or you will be taught to fly...

Um, I have all my CDs, all my parents CDs and all of one of my friend's CDs on my iPod (go the mutual iTunes library). I have no idea what the most embarrassing thing on there is, but it'll be something pretty mighty.
Drink coffee and do stupid things faster with more energy.
May I just say:
I LOVE YOUR SIGNATURE! |-D

I don't think I'd be embarrassed if someone found the songs on my ipod - well, maybe some of the ones my son put on there before he gave it to me!I have a couple playlists I use for workouts and spinning & love everything 'cause it keeps me going! Everything from
Chemical Bros. - Galvanize (love it!)
Queen - Bicycle (of course!)
Commodores - Brick House (reminds me of my youth)
Ray Parker - Ghostbusters (ok, maybe a little embarrassed!)
KT Tunstall - Black Horse & a Cherry Tree
and on, and on, and on.....

I still mourn his passing.
Karen
I don't have an Ipod.
but I have recordings of Sicilian funeral dirges that I love.
(think Fellini sound tracks... similar)
Tuckervill, John Denver is nothing to be embarrassed about! I don't have him on my ipod, but I do have his CDs and listen to them almost every time I go up to the mountains.![]()
I can't say I'm embarrassed about anything on my ipod, although if my Grandma found it and started listening she would surely be offended by some of the lyrics to say, Lo-Fi Allstars, Prodigy, Modest Mouse . . . then I might be embarrassed.
The best part about going up hills is riding back down!
Don't laugh... Suddenly Seymour from Little Shop of Horror. I love that song!
My iPod has everything on it - Rock, Alternative Rock, Country, Gospel, Christian, Show Tunes, Reggae, Ska, Folk, Rap, Zydeco... everything but Opera. Don't like Opera!
And Yes I also have John Denver tunes... Rocky Mountsin High - gret riding songs...
BCIpam - Nature Girl
I should probably be ashamed because I don't have an iPod, but my mom does (the one that goes with the Nike shoes, so she can track her workout with it!)
But IF I had one...
Jimmy Buffett is NOT something to be ashamed of. He's just plain fun.
Okay, I do have the entire collection of Duran Duran and yes I still listen to it all.
I guess the one thing that stands out is my CD of Burt Kaempfert, the Happy Trumpeter. I listen to it sometimes when I clean the house.
