Count me in please and thank you for helping all of us stay on track this winter!
I actually made this goal while running in January and never put it in writing. Right now I am not mileage or total hour oriented...if I just "do" these activities at this frequency I'll get the time/hours in. Here it goes (pretty lofty goals for me):
Run 4 days a week: 1 easy, 1 speed (maybe on TM), 1 hill or tempo, 1 LR. I would like to get my avg weekly mileage closer to 20 miles/week and build over the next months as I once again train for PPA. I also allow myself one week a month to run only 3 days.
Bike 2 days a week: 1 trainer, 1 outside
Yoga 1-2 days a week (probably just getting there once a week is enough for now)
Strength train--just get something started, even if just once a week!
As for bike/trainer time (previous spreadsheet--I'll keep the 16 hr/month goal when next posted)
So it is Feb. 1st...let's see what I can do about meeting these goals!

With Veronica's permission, I have created a February spreadsheet.
PM me for the link.
I've borrowed liberally from hers, but any errors or omissions are mine:p
PM sent as well, and now I need to think about the new month's goals. Thanks to both of you!
Thanks to both of you - Bluberry and Veronica! Got the link.
I'm in again this month... PM link, please. Thanks:).
I think I'd like to join this month now that I have an actual training plan and goals in mind.
PM sent. Thanks to both of you for doing this again!
OK - think I'm caught up on PM's. It's never too late to join, though - I'm happy to send the link at any time. Just wanted those who have messaged me to know that they should have received a reply.
I actually added another goal to the spreadsheet for those who want to use it (if you don't, just leave it blank). It's a number of activity goal (e.g., 27 activities for the month).
Remember it's a 29 day month:p:p
PM sent. Thank you both for doing this!
Thanks for V and Blueberry for doing this. Can you count me in too, please.
Thanks,
Red Rock
Thank you for the link! I am starting with the same goal as last month, I may need to adjust that. Quite often I do two activities in a single workout session so I just estimated a number for the activities goal - I like that as it makes me to think about it. It may be edited as well ;)
Thank you indeed Veronica and Blueberry! With the earlier, and much better, start I have gotten with off-season training, I feel that this may be my best/strongest year on the bike ever! Setting - very public - goals like this and committing to it has been very motivating. Even though I have another weekend away from the bike this month, I am upping my goal by one hour from January.
PM sent. Thank you both!
I got in half an hour. I was going for an hour, but my body decided to make it known to me that yogurt prior to exercise really is not a good idea.
I got in an hour on the bike yesterday, outside again!
This evening I've planned a fitness walk at the gym prior to an hour+ spinning class. I've learned the hard way that until my neck heals completely I cannot lift weights prior to spinning class - I wind up in agony half-way through class if I do :o
I was hoping to get outside yesterday with a forecast of sunny and 40, but it never got out of the 20's and looked gloomy all day. :( So, 1 hour and 45 minutes of Endurance Booster yesterday (kind of boring) preceded by the Uphill Grind on Saturday.
I'm starting to realize that if I want to keep doing things the way that I do, the brunch thing doesn't work. 2 days of calorie deficit have caught up with me. I wanted an hour of trainer time and a 25 minutes of yoga. I revised that to half an hour of trainer time. I didn't even make that. On top of that, my right hamstring is whining about something. So it'll be an hour of beginner yoga tonight and 15 minutes on the trainer. If I can find time, I might add some trainer time tomorrow morning, or perhaps just a walk around campus between classes.
This was a great idea to get the off-season bike fitness going - thanks again! For years I have kept a hand-written, old-fashioned bike log during the season. Time to get with the times. There are lots of options out there but for anyone else who might be interested, I am using this free training log from Bicycling mag (you can record all sorts of non-bike activities too): http://traininglog.bicycling.com/landingpage.aspx.
Happy Riding! :)
