I've been wondering the same thing.
I too have been wondering.
If you want to contact her, i believe you can do so through Trek420. I know she's alive!!
I miss her too.
What's the Wool Weenies section without Knot?? Maybe she's away enjoying the small pleasures of life.
She decided she wanted a break from TE.
While I also miss her comments and hope she is doing well, the dreamer in me hopes that she is taking her professional and cycling knowledge and contacts and developing a new line of ergonmic and usable women's saddles. Saddles that support, are sized, comfortable and do no harm to sensitive places.
I miss Knot as well. I hope things are ok for her. Hope she is having many great miles on her bike.:D
Red Rock
I wish that came with sound.
cool photo!
Trek, Thanks! Tell her we said hello. She's a good soul.
If I had a place like that to go to, I'd take a break from more than just TE.
Awesome photo - thanks, Trek!!
Hope she's as happy and peaceful as she looks in the photo.
CA
It's near the little town of Pescadero, CA :)
Ah, I thought so. Hope you stopped at Duarte's or Arcangeli's.
I too have missed Knottedyet's posts and sense of humor.
Artichokes... in the same sentence with "brave" and "risk?" I don't get it.
Artichokes go in the same mental space with chocolate and good cognac... And Knott. ;)
corectomundo BSG
Artichokes good!
Knott good
Freshly Backed Home Made Yummy Crusty Pescadero Authentic Sour Dough Artichoke Bread from Duarte's www.duartestavern.com/ for a celiac Knott? Not so good. Luckily she didn't react.

Currently suffering through a bout with acute achilles tendonitis, I cruised through all the threads here on the subject. Knotted clearly knows what she is talking about and I really wish she would come back with her always good advice on how to stretch out all the little (and not so little) aches and pains that we all suffer. Tell her she is missed by this sore puppy.
Aaaah, I see, it's the free PT advice  Well, yes Knott is very wise and she does know what she's talking about. But TE will do fine as will you all.
You say this like it's a bad thing?
Knotted wrote often about bikes, biking, equipment, clothing, and yes, even PT issues. She was a very knowledgeable, active, and enjoyable member of our little community. For some reason she has chosen not to participate any more, and for that TE is (to me anyway) a less interesting place.
Don't get me wrong, there is a ton of good information here, and clearly many friendships have formed, bonds been forged among the forum participants.
However during these boring and dreary winter months we have spawned a lot of "noise" which has detracted from the original focus of the group. I confess that I have put many threads on "ignore." We don't seem to generate nearly so many negative vibrations when we keep the discussions to biking or some aspect thereof.
I hope that as the winter weather dissipates and we pick up our neglected bikes again that we will see a pendulum swing in the content of our posts.
There is definitely a seasonal aspect to it all. This has been my third winter on TE, and it seems there is always less biking posting and more personal issues/introspective posting during the winter. See how few Daily Ride reports there are these days. Everyone gets more upbeat in the Spring and we all spend more time on our bikes and less time pondering the meaning of life. ;)
That looks like an ad for hi-viz! After I stop this horrible half marathon training I plan to ride my bike. One month to go!
Of course I miss Knot, I could pm her anything and she'd find out! Anyway, there are others I miss too. Sandra is only here once in awhile, remember how she didn't know what a mixte was, and within a month she had THREE! (and loved them). Nancy has been gone a long time, but I certainly enjoyed her posts, and I always wondered what happened to Melissam who lived in Utah and got her bike to get healthier and lose weight...and Lise, with the Dachsund avatar.
I think with a lot of them, they quit riding so lose interest. Hopefully Knot is still riding.
And Caligirl - wonder what ever happened to her. She used to do crazy miles....
Here's hoping they're all still riding, and that their lives are just too full of happy things for them to spend time here:)
I miss them too. Maybe for them life "happened". Some of us have some pretty significant things happening in our families and in our lives that cause us to put cycling on the back burner for now.
