No offense, Zen, but I hope you're wrong about that...

I walked down the trail a bit and it looked like it had been skiied and walked. I wish I had thought of it sooner. The trail is only five minutes away but now it's getting up into the 40's.
So I'm still hoping for that one last snow ;)
I just read that they're planning to plow the WOD this week. They said that their policy is to leave the trail unplowed for a while for xcountry skiers, then they plow down to 1 inch and let the rest melt.
It snowed all day yesterday, only had about 4 inches yesterday morning to shovel and then nothing stuck, but it blew snow around and snowed and sleeted and just basically looked yucky all day!
Woke up to about another 4-6 inches this morning and it has been snowing ever since and sticking; so who knows? It is supposed to snow through the evening and then we get a break for perhaps a day and a half!
I'm tired of this already!

I'm so SICK of snow! We had a snow day this week, but what we really need is a snow week! Driving a school bus in it is becoming extremely tedious!
My husband was watching the news and saw that we have had the most snow in the country for the year - 118 inches! that is 9.83 feet nana nana nana!
Yeah, like I really want to have that distinction! I'm so tired of snow
Spoke - My heart goes out to you. I bet it's gotten to the point where you say, "oh, we're only getting six inches of snow tonight, no problem."
I was boggled yesterday when they started trucking away some of the snow piles on the side of my street... They were half melted or more already... why bother at this point?
Last time I was out that way (Wed), Shookstown Road was still two lanes in some places.
I live 8 miles from you. We have the same weather.
something's coming NEXT WEDNESDAY.
You heard it here first.
Yes, but it looks like it's going to be well above freezing, so anything that falls likely will melt. That's what I'm hoping, regardless. Actually, I hope that it doesn't develop, takes a track way offshore, etc.
Snow fans have plenty of places to go and enjoy themselves, all within driving distance of DC.
I got home at 8:30 last night. I awoke to fresh snow on my car.
We had a slight dusting, too, but it's long gone now, thanks to that strong sun.
I just saw buds on the trees outside!!!!!
Spring is arriving!!!!!
Not hatin' on Spring, just bein' a realist.
Get it while it lasts.
No. I mean before the wind comes back in March and the rain starts in April
It was pretty windy out there this morning.
Zen's cold rain is coming early---later this week. I don't mind because it won't be snow or ice and it should clear away the rest of the stubborn mummified snow/ice boulders-patches.
I was planning a birthday ride for Thursday, but now I'm not so sure :(
I would just like to point out that one month ago, I was outside shoveling snow for about 4 hours.
Today I went for my first bike ride of the season.
Cheesecake on Thursday? I'm in!!
My February riding journal looks dismal. Sad. Three lonely little entries. ~~ sigh ~~
March looks like it'll be much better! (Note to self: get rain gear.)
Zen, NO MORE SNOW! No no no no no no no! (And BTW, please do read the link I left elsewhere about the Manhattan apartment deal. If you didn't have dogs, you could sign right up! :D )
It may not last 'til Thursday. We had a large Costco one on Saturday night with dinner. Leftovers are going a (generous) slice at at time. DH loooooves this cheesecake! Had a great diet day yesterday....right up until that cheesecake called to me from the 'fridge!
So, see? I was serious. MD...if you want any, better get here soon!
