Remember, these are samples only so the AV logo and jersey design will be on the real thing (sorry for the confusion, snap).
These are unisex sizes so the hips will be snug but the jackets don't seem to ride up because of the gusseting at the bottom. I removed the elastic from my windvest last year and really like how it fits, no flapping annoyingly.

Jacket Photos....duh. I am a maroon.....
I looked at the pix and thought - but that's not our design..... Must go to bed, snap is tired.
How's the count looking Snap???
*updated subliminal message* buy arm warmers... long sleeve jerseys...wind jackets...thermal jackets.......buy lots of arm warmers...long sleeve jerseys...wind jackets...thermal jackets...
Off to Ohio, I will make my decision and purchase when I get home...I feel strangely drawn to long-sleeved choices....:p
Have a great weekend, all! Lise
Just thought I'm put my name on this thread just in case Bikeless is out there and still wondering about birthday-present-ideas.....or Christmas presents.....or Chanukka presents.....(or any other holiday that warrants presents)......
Either short sleved or long sleved or short with arm warmers would be greatly appreciated.......and would be worn proudly both here and at the AidsRide07...
ah, ok so you WILL wear bright color jerseys  I'd asked Bikeless and she said you'd only wear black or earth tones. ah HAH.
In general, I prefer black and earth tones and simple designs, but I am willing to make exceptions.....
Just remember we ride on the RIGHT hand side of the road
OK, here's my plan as if I have one, registration is open online for ALC6 right now and I plan to ride I'm gonna register right away. But I may wait till SF Pride Day because it's usually a little cheaper there and I may get an extra hat or somethin' there...
Also I'm thinking vest because:
1) have you ever seen me on a bike without a vest?
2) I'll have at least 2 other "jersey days", there'll be a day in Velo Girls pink, at least one day in training ride leader jersey...so complex.
Sounds like a plan to me. Much more of a plan than I have. I just plan to survive the ride......
I added some pictures last night to the photobucket album. These are pictures of me in the sizing samples of the jackets and windvests. The same Amici Veloci design will be on the real thing. I just wanted everyone to see what the cut and fabrics are like on the jackets and vest.
Sorry if I confused anyone.
Whoever do you mean?!? :oQuote:

Speaking of surviving the ride ... How are you doing after that crash yesterday? And how's the old guy you tangled with doing?Quote:

Thank yee kindly.
I just sent in my order. The website's last update was 5 days ago--how's it looking for the arm warmers/LS???
Let us know!
Don't have the number right now, due to a database "problem" . I should have something by tomorrow night. I know we've met minimum for short sleeved, and I think we may have met it for longsleeve/arm warmers.Quote:

My order is in: short sleeve jersey and arm warmers! Thanks to everyone who provided sizing and fit information.
Drum Roll Please!
Short Sleeve/Sleeveless 43
Long Sleeve 11
Armwarmers 12
Does that include our 3 LS items that I haven't ordered yet? Of course, I'll be the last one to accomplish this but then I'm special.:p
With the additional 3 long sleeve - does that put the arm warmer/long sleeve category over the 25 needed???????
I'm so impressed with the TE ladies for buying so many jerseys and such! That's support! Wow!
One SS jersey ordered! It is fun to do this kind of stuff on my "to do" list :)
and being off topic, but here is the answer to "soffio crema veloce":
>Soffio crema veloce literally means a breath or breeze of fast cream.
:o
I'm back from Ohio! Decision time is upon us (me. Decision time has come and gone for most of you.) I am getting the wind shell jacket. I would also like a sleeveless jersey. So here's the question:
Is there a "womens' club jersey" option for sleeveless? I see only "race" in the womens' category. As I am amply supplied with fuel storage (fat) around my hips and belly, I want a looser option.
Those of you who know the fit...should I get the sleeveless men's club jersey instead?
Thanks for your help.
Lise
Cindy can tell you about the Men's jersey fit. The men's race will have even tigheter elastic than the men's club, but it will also be a bit shorter.
The women's club cut is only available in the short sleeve jersey. I personally have removed the elastic from the women's race cut jerseys and re-hemmed with great success. Nice fit, looks good (I think :p). If you look at the pics of me in the LRRH new feed thread you'll see me in a sleeveless race cut with the elastic removed.
I ordered 1 ls jersey. If we reorder again next year, can we do this early in the spring so I can receive it for our ever-so-short summer here? Just a thought...:p Can't wait to get this one!
mtbdarby, just a guess, but I think it is a really long shot that there will be a 2nd re-order. Of course, I was blown away with the number that was ordered the first time around so I could be wrong but I'd guess this will be the last opportunity.
SK, so I'm gonna have to keep shopping is what I hear? I'm torn between the M and L on the SS club cut. I'm 5'6", 155 and a 36A on top with a 31" waist. Any ideas? I have big arms so I'm leaning toward a large, what do you think?
Start with post #117 and then look for more comments.
Dita, have you collected all the sizing comments and updated the list??? Yes???? :)
