Sounds like you need to ask St. Joseph for help.

And oddly enough, I don't know why, you're supposed to bury the St. Joseph statue upside down.
First, you have to have faith that St. Joseph will assist. I'm not a church goer, but I am spiritual and believe in the Saints.
St. Joseph helped several family members and even some initially-doubting friends.
You don't have to bury the statue. I kept the statue---when I asked St. Joseph for assistance, I promised him that he would always have a home with us, no matter where we lived. He has a place of honor on my dresser.
I did it as a skeptic, and it still worked.
Dear Santa,
I'd like a new saddle... one that will be kind to my tush on my looooong ride next year.
I'd also like some new bike shoes-- Sidi Dominator 5's please!
I need a few more pairs of bibs, a tent and a camping aerobed to sleep on inside the tent.
I also need the willpower to lose 15-20 lbs before April. Please help!
love,
Reesha
My real estate agent has informed me that St. Joeseph is buried in the yard of my house. She's even gone out "to freshen him." I think friends snuck on and buried another one. I haven't gone to a Catholic supply store to get my own St. Joesph. I'll go for all the help I can get.
I think Santa may bring me the dryer - we've been earning gift cards at work for reports turned in ahead of schedule, and one of our options is Home Depot. So hopefully (*fingers crossed*) will get a dryer and a pedestal sink for the bathroom.
Good luck with the house!
Dear Santa,
My four-footed housemates have asked me to pass along a few requests. The cats would like you to bring them a self-serve catnip dispenser and some dog-free play time. The dog would like a big, meaty, messy bone, and for one of the cats to be willing to play with her. They've promised to leave out a pig's ear and some canned tuna for you!
Hmmm, I don't know if it works if you didn't bury him. We followed all the instructions when we buried ours and that included digging him back up after the house closed and moving him to a place of honor in our new house - where he sits today. I know corny and mine is plastic and no I am not a catholic either :)
What do you have to do to "freshen" a buried St. Joseph?
Wow!
My name really is Virginia, and Santa (and Peter and everybody at Bike Friday) got our Bikes Friday here!!! Yesterday!!!
Today we are scavenging saddles and pedals and adjusting and admiring and dreaming of travels...
My dryer came this morning!!
Time to go see if I can shrink my skinny jeans so they're skinny again :)
