I swear by the shimano 424 and similar pedals. They feel like normal bmx pedals unless you have the shoes with the cleat and/or place the cleat in the right place. I like the fact they are same on both sides as well.
I have the Shimano pedals that SadieKate mentions--PD-M324. I love them!
