lph, tell your DH that I can attest to the fact that two cats are better than one. I was always a one-cat household, but in 2007 I rescued a little fuzzball that was drowning in a mudpuddle during a downpour. I was going to take her to the shelter once she got old enough, but wouldn't you know I grew attached. :) And the two cats get along great, which was a surprise to me since the cat I already had was a feral, aggressive, mean ol' brute of a cat. :eek: Having another cat seemed to calm him down, and they spend their days mock-fighting and napping. It is hugely entertaining to see them interact.
