What is smart wool made of? Does it contain real wool? I ask cuz I am allergic to real wool, so is this stuff a high-tech fiber that works like wool, or is it wool???

I ordered an xl so they wouldn't be tight and I coule wear layers under them (I was too cheap to buy the loose tight) I LOVE them! In fact, I rarely took them off all weekend long:D Yup, I'm a wool weenie....
