Finally got a beer pic. We were out at a very authentic Mexican restaurant in Waltham, where I had perhaps the spiciest food I have ever eaten (chicken in 7 chili sauce). The beer is just a Carta Blanca, but I like just about any Mexican beer. When we first moved here, you couldn't get them anywhere.
So I tried using my notebook's camera - the cats refused to help. Not that great photo quality.

A bottle of wine (shared) and a beer- and a blond at that! A toast to my online friends whom are always there!. Love the off season!
I couldn't get a decent picture of me and my beer if my life depended on it, so here's the beer - a so-so Anchor Christmas Ale, but it looks nice in its Amici Veloci pint glass.

Good stuff, isn't it? If you ever make it back to Wisconsin, try the Capital Island Wheat too. It's mighty tasty as well but Spotted Cow is still my favorite. DS is just an hour south of the Wisconsin border and I'm 7 hours south so I get to drink it a couple of times a year. Too bad you are so far away but I'd much rather be in Florida this time of year than Wisconsin:DQuote:

Those are lovely glasses. The very last thing in the entire world that this house needs is another glass of any type. But man, if I had room for them, I think I'd be on it.
I don't need another pint glass but I have been eying a Belgian for a while. And people have been hounding me about Christmas presents....
Eeek! I almost forgot. I'll pour myself a brew in a bit. I'm actually attempting to work right now. :rolleyes:

The latest B*tch Magazine has an article about women and beer. Apparently in every culture that has a myth about beer, it was given by a goddess to the women of the culture - and women were the primary brewers until mediaeval times.
The piece also talks about how the marketing is finally starting to come around to recognize that women actually do drink beer.
The article isn't online ... but it's at your newsstand now. :)
